Dr. Niborski will speak in Yiddish on the history and current work of the Paris Yiddish Center-Medem Library, giving as an example his study of the Yiddish poet Aaron Tsaytlin. Consecutive interpretation provided.

About the Event
Dr. Yitskhok Niborski was born and educated in Argentina, where he graduated from the Buenos Aires Yiddish-Hebrew Teachers’ Seminary. He holds a doctorate in literature . He moved to Paris in 1979, where he has taught Yiddish and related subjects. He is currently director of the Paris Yiddish Center-Medem Library. He is a prolific author, and has written a Yiddish-French/French-Yiddish dictionary and a dictionary of Hebrew-origin words in Yiddish.
