Free Yiddish Concert

Bernard Horwich JCC on Touhy Ave.
Noah Marcell will present a free concert that will include lots of Yiddish songs as well as Hebrew and other languages.
There will also be ice cream served that is free. -

We mourn Pessie Dunsky a long-time member and friend, who died August 13 at the age of 85. Pessie was an ardent Zionist, a lover of all things Yiddish, and dedicated to progres¬sive political causes. She met her late husband Paul and they married in Jerusalem in 1948 while both were serving in the Israeli military.
